High View House

High View House is a big house in Mundesley, Norfolk. It sleeps 14, across six bedrooms, and it has five bathrooms. I had it completely redone in 2022. It's got a 5 Star rating.

The kitchen is large and open plan. It's well equipped. The dining table seats everyone. The main living room has big sofas. There’s also a separate snug with a TV, which is useful if kids want to watch something different.

There are sea views from the back of the house. Not right on the front, but you can see the water from the upstairs windows.

The stairs are fine. The bedrooms are spread over two floors. On the first floor, there's one king-size room and two rooms with three single beds each. Up another floor, there are two more king-size rooms and a twin room.

Mundesley village centre is about a five minute walk. There's a shop, a few pubs, cafes, and places to eat. The beach is about a mile away. It's sandy. The local golf course is walkable too.

Within half an hour's drive you’ve got Cromer, with its pier, and Sheringham, which has the North Norfolk Railway steam trains. The Norfolk Broads are inland. For history, Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are National Trust properties nearby. The RSPB reserves at Cley Marshes and Blakeney are popular for birdwatchers.

Practical stuff: parking for multiple cars on the drive. The garden is enclosed. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.

Some useful links for planning: National Trust Norfolk, North Norfolk Tourism, and The Broads Authority.
