The Tack Room

The Tack Room is part of our small livery yard in Swafield. There are three other cottages here, all converted from the old farm buildings. Ours is a working yard, so there are usually a few horses and ponies about.

It's a new conversion, finished in 2021. It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. They all have their own ensuite bathrooms, which is handy with a full house. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything's in good order.

Inside, it's open plan. There's a big sofa. The kitchen has what you need. Outside, there's a patio and an enclosed garden with a hot tub. The views are over the fields.

Being on a yard, you get straight onto the footpaths. Good for walks with the dog. The beach at Mundesley is about four miles. The North Norfolk coast, with places like Cromer and Sheringham, is within half an hour. The Norfolk Broads are about the same distance.

For days out, Blickling Hall is close. Banham Zoo and BeWILDerwood are popular with kids, and both are a short drive. There's a local shop and a pub in the village, about two miles away.

Facilities: all the basics are covered. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside and an electric vehicle charger. You can bring up to four dogs. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them.
