Watchkeeper's Cottage is in Mundesley. It's Victorian, so the rooms are a good size but the ceilings are a bit lower than modern houses. It sleeps four people, in two bedrooms.
The garden backs onto Gold Park. There's a gate at the end so you can just walk straight through. The park has a pitch and putt course, some tennis courts, and a skate park. It's about a three hundred yard walk across the park to get to the beach.
The main village shops and cafes are a hundred yards away. The pub is about three hundred yards. Both dog-friendly beaches are a ten minute walk.
Inside, it's comfortable and has everything you need. There's a woodburning stove for colder evenings. The stairs are typical for a cottage of this age, so they're a bit steep and narrow. A stairgate is provided.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed.
For days out, Cromer is about seven miles up the coast. It has a pier and a decent beach. North Walsham is five miles inland for supermarkets. To get onto the Broads, Wroxham is about twelve miles away. You can hire day boats there.
