Owl Barn
Owl Barn is in Sidestrand, just off the coast road between Cromer and Mundesley. It's a barn conversion. You turn down a little track to get to it.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a three star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean. There's a decent sized living area with an open fire.
The layout is a bit quirky as it's an old barn. The ceilings are high in the main room. The stairs are typical for a conversion, so they're a bit steeper than in a modern house.
You're about a mile from the beach at Sidestrand itself. It's a quiet, sandy beach. Overstrand beach is to the west and Mundesley is to the east, both a short drive away. The coast path runs along here if you want to walk it.
Cromer is about three miles away. It's got the pier and the usual seaside things. There's a good rocky section east of the pier for exploring rock pools.
If you like birdwatching, RSPB Titchwell Marsh is about a 45 minute drive west. The Norfolk Broads are inland, around a 40 minute drive to places like Wroxham.
For a day out, you've got the National Trust places nearby: Sheringham Park and Felbrigg Hall are both close. Visit Norfolk has good information for planning.
There's a local pub within a mile that does food. In the barn you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for two cars. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
