The Farmhouse
Right, The Farmhouse. It's a Victorian brick and flint one, detached. It's on the edge of Cromer, so about a ten minute walk into the town centre. You can actually see the sea from the upstairs windows. It's not on a working farm or anything, the name's just what it's always been.
It sleeps seven in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is handy with a full house. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The garden at the back is enclosed, which is good for kids or a dog. It's lawned with a paved patio area. You get the sun in the afternoon.
The stairs are a bit steep, typical for an old house. One of the bathrooms is downstairs, off the kitchen.
Cromer itself is about a ten minute walk down the hill. Good pier, sandy beach, all the usual seaside stuff. There's a shop and a pub about a mile away, but you'll probably drive or walk into town for most things.
If you want to go further out, the North Norfolk Railway runs steam trains from Sheringham, which is about ten minutes away by car. Blakeney Point for the seal boat trips is a half hour drive. The Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Estate National Trust places are about twenty minutes away.
For facilities: you've got parking for two cars on the gravel drive, a dishwasher and washing machine, Wi-Fi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog.
