Scira is in Sheringham, on a quiet side street. It's tall and skinny, like a lot of places here, spread over three floors. You're close to everything: the beach and town are a two minute walk. The house sleeps six, with four bedrooms and one bathroom.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and has everything you need, but it's not a show home. It's got the original Norfolk flint walls and old fireplaces, which give it character. The stairs are steep and narrow though. Just so you know.
You can bring one dog. There's a small enclosed patio garden out the back.
Facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the front.
The local shop and a couple of pubs are a few hundred yards away. The beach is the main thing, it's just down the road. For walking, Sheringham Park is beautiful, run by the National Trust. The steam railway is good fun, they call it the Poppy Line. You can get the mainline train from here to Cromer, or into Norwich if you fancy a city day.
Within half an hour you've got Cromer with its pier, the Muckleburgh Collection if you like tanks and vehicles, and the coast path goes for miles. The Visit Norfolk site is useful for planning. It's a good base for a straightforward seaside holiday.
