Bracken Lodge
Bracken Lodge is a detached lodge in Weybourne Forest. It's surrounded by pine woods, about 100 acres, and then there's more National Trust forest next to that. It's quiet.
It sleeps four. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs inside are a bit steep.
The forest has good paths for walking, from one to five mile loops. You can get onto the North Norfolk Coastal Path from here. It's about a 40 minute walk to the coast path proper, or a very short drive.
The nearest proper beach is at Weybourne village, about a mile and a half away. It's shingle. The village has a pub and a deli that does coffee and basics.
You're a short drive from Sheringham and Cromer. Sheringham has a bit more going on, shops and that. The North Norfolk Railway runs between Holt and Sheringham, which is a nice thing to do. The station is a walk away.
Because it's in the forest, you really do need a car. The closest shop and pub you can walk to is at Kelling Heath Holiday Park, about a mile. They have a play area and a restaurant. You can pay to use their swimming pool sometimes.
Facilities: it's got parking right there, WiFi, TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring two dogs.
