Leatherpool Place is in Wiveton, near Cley-next-the-Sea. It's a detached brick and flint house set back from the Coast Road, facing across the marshes. You can see the Cley windmill from the house.
It sleeps ten, in five bedrooms with three bathrooms. It’s a 5 Star property, so it’s well-equipped and comfortable. It’s fine for a wheelchair to get in, but I'd call to talk through the full layout if that’s a key requirement.
Inside, there's a large kitchen and dining area with doors that open onto the patio. The living room has a wood burner and leads into a conservatory which looks out over the marshes. There's also a separate snug with another TV and wood burner if people want to split up.
Outside, there’s an enclosed garden and patio with a hot tub that’s private to the house. Parking is on site.
The village of Cley-next-the-Sea is about a ten minute walk away. It’s got a good pub that does food, some nice cafés and a smokehouse. The shingle beach and the Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s Cley Marshes visitor centre are about a mile and a half away on foot. Blakeney Quay is a 15 minute walk or a very short drive.
The house is on the edge of the Norfolk Coast National Landscape. You can walk or cycle straight out onto the coastal path from the door. You’re well-placed for places like Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea and Blakeney. Sheringham is about 9 miles along the coast.
The house has the practical things: WiFi, washing machine, dishwasher, cots and highchairs. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three dogs.
For planning days out, the National Trust North Norfolk site has good information on local beaches and estates like Blickling.
