Blacksmiths Cottages
Blacksmiths Cottages are in Stiffkey, one of two cottages side by side. They share a big garden, about half an acre. It's south-facing, gets the sun, and looks out over fields. There are fruit trees.
My place sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which helps. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and has what you need. The stairs to the first floor are fairly steep, just so you know.
The garden is enclosed, so it's fine for kids or a dog. We allow one pet. There's parking right here.
You're a short walk from the saltmarshes and the coast. It's good for walking and birdwatching. The village shop is about 50 yards away. The pub is good, about 300 yards.
You can drive to the beach at Holkham or Wells-next-the-Sea in a few minutes. Blakeney is close for seeing the seals. The whole area is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There's also the National Trust Norfolk Coast nearby.
Further out, within about half an hour, you've got the steam railways, Sandringham, and Holkham Hall.
In the cottage there's a woodburner, a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding is included. We've got a stairgate and a kids' play area outside.
The two cottages can be joined together through a connecting door if you're coming with more people.
