Blacksmiths Cottages
Blacksmiths Cottages are in Stiffkey, which is on the North Norfolk coast. It's a pair of cottages but you rent one at a time unless you book both together. They're semi-detached, but you each get your own separate bit of garden. It's south-facing, so you get the sun, and it looks out over fields. There's about half an acre with some fruit trees.
They sleep six people. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy with that many. It's got a 4 Star rating. They're comfortable, with beams and a wood burning stove. The wifi is fine for emails and browsing.
You can walk to the salt marshes and the beach from here. It's good for birdwatching. The village is a conservation area. There's a shop about fifty yards away and a pub about three hundred yards. The pub is decent.
For bigger days out, Blakeney is very close for the seal trips. There are four steam railways within easy driving distance, if that's your thing. Holkham Hall and Sandringham are both within half an hour. The whole coast is good for walking.
Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ, and parking. You can bring one dog. Bedding is included. There's a stairgate if you need it.
