Madeleine's Barn
Madeleine's Barn is in Wells-next-the-Sea, off the quay. It's on a small lane near the harbour. It's a detached barn conversion, so it's all yours. There's a parking space right outside.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star award from 2010. It's well put together. The stairs are normal house stairs, not the really steep ones you sometimes get.
The living space is open plan. There's a wood burning stove, which is good for cooler evenings. The garden is enclosed, so it's secure for dogs or kids. You can sit out there.
You're about a five minute walk from the quay and the town. There are shops, fish and chip shops, and pubs. The Crab House and The Globe are both close. You can get boat trips from the harbour to see the seals.
Holkham Hall and its beach are a couple of miles down the coast road. That's the really wide, sandy beach you see in pictures. The National Trust looks after it. The whole north Norfolk coast is good for walking and birdwatching. The RSPB reserves at Titchwell and Snettisham are a short drive away.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
