The Old Candle Shop is on the high street in Little Walsingham. It's a small end-terrace cottage, very old, and used to be a shop. It sleeps three comfortably.
The downstairs is all open plan: kitchen, living area, and a double bed. Upstairs is a small twin room with a cabin bed. The ceiling is low up there, so mind your head. It's one bedroom really, but split over two floors. One bathroom, with a shower.
It's got a 4 Star rating. The place was refurbished recently, so it's in good order. It's clean and tidy, not huge, but it feels light. There's a small patio garden out the back.
You can bring one dog. There's a dishwasher and wifi. All the bedding and towels are provided.
The Walsingham Estate Farm Shop is directly opposite. It's good. There's a village shop, a pub, and a couple of cafes all within a two-minute walk. The Walsingham to Wells miniature railway is just down the road, kids tend to like that.
It's about a fifteen-minute drive to the coast at Wells-next-the-Sea. Good beach, famous for the beach huts. Holkham is about twenty minutes. Blakeney for the seals is maybe twenty-five minutes.
Useful links if you're planning: National Trust North Norfolk and North York Moors National Park.
Parking: there are usually spaces on the street directly opposite the cottage. If not, there's a public car park a couple of minutes' walk away.
