Partridge Barn is in Sculthorpe, Norfolk. It's a single-storey barn conversion, so everything's on one level which is useful. There are a few other barns nearby on the same lane, but the patio area and garden are just for you. It's quiet.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's comfortable. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, and the patio gets the sun.
The lane you drive up is tree-lined. You can walk to the local pub and restaurant in about ten minutes. It's a proper village pub. The nearest shop is a couple of miles away in Fakenham.
Fakenham is the nearest town for supermarkets. Wells-next-the-Sea is about nine miles. You can drive there or there's a coast hopper bus from Fakenham if you don't want to take the car. The beach at Wells is good, with the beach huts and the pine woods.
From here you can get to a lot of the North Norfolk coast within half an hour. Holkham, Blakeney, and the seals at Horsey are all within reach for a day out.
The barn has parking right outside. There's WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. It says it's family friendly, and we have a cot and a highchair. You can bring two dogs. The garden is enclosed.
