Partridge Barn
Partridge Barn is in Sculthorpe, Norfolk. It's on a quiet little development of converted barns, down a private lane with trees.
It's all on one floor, which is handy. Sleeps six, three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The main living space is good, with a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
The garden is enclosed, which is useful. There's parking right there.
You're about half a mile from a pub that does food. The closest shop is in Fakenham, a couple of miles away. That's a proper market town with what you need.
The coast is the main draw. Wells-next-the-Sea is about nine miles. It's got the big beach with the pine woods and the famous beach huts. Holkham and Brancaster are a short drive along the coast road, maybe 20 minutes or so.
If you like walking, the coast path is obvious. For history, you've got the Holkham Hall estate and Sandringham is within half an hour. The North Norfolk Railway runs from Sheringham, which is also about half an hour away.
It's set up for families, with a cot and highchair. They take up to two dogs. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, bike storage, and a BBQ.
