This is Kingfisher Barn. It's one of four barn conversions here, near Sculthorpe in Norfolk. Three of the barns are joined together, one is separate. Kingfisher is one of the joined ones. They're all on a working farm, next to the owner's house.
It sleeps ten people in five bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy for a big group. There's an open plan living area with a wood burner and the kitchen has what you need. The garden is enclosed with a lawn and some seating.
There's a function hall on the farm. If you wanted to use it for something, you'd need to ask the owners beforehand. It's not automatically included.
The village is quiet. There's a pub and a restaurant about half a mile away. The nearest shop is in Fakenham, two miles. Fakenham has a supermarket, a few places to eat, a bowling alley and a cinema.
The coast is about eight miles. Wells-next-the-Sea is the closest proper seaside town. It's got a long sandy beach, beach huts, a harbour and shops. Brancaster beach is good too, a bit further along. It's less crowded and there's a golf course. Hunstanton is a more traditional seaside town with things like amusement arcades.
If you like walking or cycling, you can go straight from the door. The area is flat, which helps. It's good for birdwatching. The RSPB has a few reserves along the coast. For a stately home, Holkham Hall is nearby. The market town of Burnham Market is about seven miles away.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The stairs have a stairgate.
