Rose Cottage is in Great Snoring. It's a 17th century cottage, but it's been done up inside. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The stairs are a bit steep, like you'd expect. The floors aren't completely level either. It adds to the feel of the place, but just mind your head in a couple of doorways.
You've got a wood burner in the living room. There's an enclosed garden with a patio and a BBQ, and an outdoor kitchen area too. It's handy for cooking outside in the summer.
Facilities are straightforward: WiFi, TV, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance, but there are steps inside.
You can bring up to three dogs. There's a footpath just round the corner that leads to Little Walsingham, which is good for walks.
The local shop is about a mile and a half away. The nearest pub and restaurant are two miles.
You're about six miles from Wells-next-the-Sea. It's got a nice harbour, a long beach with coloured huts, and some good places to eat. The beach is dog friendly.
Within half an hour's drive, you've got Blakeney for crabbing. Sheringham and Cromer are along that stretch of coast too, with beaches and things to do. Fakenham has a racecourse and a golf course open to visitors.
