Wensum View Cottage is in Great Ryburgh, Norfolk. It's a detached house that sleeps up to ten people.
There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's not a show home, it's a place for a family or a group to stay.
If you fish, this is a good spot for it. There's a private stretch of the River Wensum, a purpose-built pond, and a conservation water on site. The conservation water is a National Crucian Conservation Project, so it's managed for that purpose.
There's a heated outdoor swimming pool you can use. The garden is enclosed.
The facilities list is pretty complete: woodburner, BBQ, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can take up to three dogs.
Great Ryburgh is a quiet village. There's a shop about 300 yards away. The coast at Wells-next-the-Sea is about a 20-minute drive. Hunstanton, Blakeney, and all the north Norfolk beaches are within easy reach. Pensthorpe Nature Reserve is just down the road, and there are several RSPB reserves nearby.
For wider planning, the Visit Norfolk and National Trust Norfolk sites are useful. The North Norfolk Railway is also within half an hour if you like steam trains.
