Wensum View Cottage

Wensum View Cottage is in Great Ryburgh. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. That makes it easy for a group, or if you've got anyone who doesn't do stairs.

It sleeps up to ten people in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not fancy.

The main thing is the space outside. You've got a decent garden that's fully enclosed. There's a heated swimming pool you can use. If you're into fishing, there's a private bit of the River Wensum right at the bottom of the garden. There's also a separate pond on the property with some good sized carp.

The village has a shop about a five minute walk away. The pub is even closer, just a hundred yards or so. They do food.

You're about twenty minutes from the north Norfolk coast. Wells-next-the-Sea is probably the closest, with the beach and the harbour. Cromer and Hunstanton are about half an hour's drive. Sheringham is in between. It's very easy to get to different beaches.

For things to do, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve is basically next door. It's good for a walk and they have events. The RSPB has several reserves nearby if you're keen on birdwatching. There's also a dinosaur park for kids about a twenty minute drive away.

Inside, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, wifi. The wood burner works well. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. There's parking for several cars right outside.
