The Small Barn
The Small Barn is on our farm in Wood Norton. It's a converted barn, detached from our house. You get your own garden, it's enclosed. There's a patio with table and chairs through French doors.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxury. The stairs are the original barn stairs. They're steep and a bit narrow, so just take care.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. We've got about an acre and a half of grounds here that you're welcome to walk around. It's mostly gardens and some old farm buildings. It's quiet.
The coast is about twenty minutes drive. Weybourne beach is shingle. Blakeney is good for crabbing and seal trips. Cromer has the pier and a proper promenade. Wells-next-the-Sea is the one with the beach huts and you can get the little train down to the sand.
Holt is the nearest town for shops and cafes, about ten minutes away. Norwich is under forty minutes if you want a city day. The Broads are about the same drive the other way.
For history, the big estates are all within reach. Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are both National Trust. Sandringham is the King's place. Holkham is a big estate with a beach.
Facilities wise: there's parking right outside, a TV, WiFi, and bedding is included. We've got bike storage if you bring them. It's got central heating. There's a shower, no bath.
