Jacobs Folly
This is Jacobs Folly, out near Briston. It's what they call glamping, so it's a large, high-spec hut set in a field. It's brand new. You get it to yourself, it's detached.
It sleeps six. There's one main bedroom and then additional sleeping space in the living area. One bathroom with a shower. It has a 5 Star rating.
It's got a big wood-burning stove for heating, which is the main feature. Full cooking facilities, bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ outside and parking right there. There's also a shared swimming pool on the site you can use. You can bring up to two dogs.
The location is the main point. You're about 15 minutes drive from the north Norfolk coast. Places like Wells-next-the-Sea, with its harbour and beach, and Holkham are within half an hour. Cromer, with its pier and beach, is about a 25 minute drive.
Inland, you're not far from the edges of The Broads National Park. Norwich is about 45 minutes south if you want a city day. For a local historical site, Baconsthorpe Castle is a ruined manor house run by English Heritage, just a few miles away.
There are a few other similar huts on the same site. They can be booked together for bigger groups.
