Goosewing Hut is a shepherd's hut we built in the woods near Briston. It's for two people. Completely detached, so it's just you out there.
It's new and well made. One room with a bed, a small kitchen area, and a wood burner to keep it warm. There's a separate shower and toilet in its own little block a few steps from the hut. The bedding and towels are included.
The hut is in the trees. You'll see birds, maybe a fox or badger at night. It's quiet apart from that. You can use the barbecue outside.
There's a swimming pool on the main site you're welcome to use. You can park right by the hut.
We accept one well-behaved dog. The stairs up into the hut are steep, like most shepherd's huts.
It's a good base for the area. Holt is a few miles away for shops and cafes. The coast at Wells-next-the-Sea is about a twenty minute drive. They have a great beach with those colourful huts. The National Trust at Blickling is close, and the North Norfolk coast for walking is within half an hour.
