Oast Barn
Oast Barn is in Letheringsett, just outside Holt. It's a barn conversion. The river Glaven runs along the bottom of the garden. You can hear it from inside if it's been raining.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms and a separate loo downstairs, which is handy. The living space is all open plan. The walls are Norfolk flint.
There's a small courtyard garden with a table. It gets the sun in the evening. You can bring one dog.
The 4 Star rating means it's been done to a good standard. It's comfortable. There's underfloor heating downstairs.
Holt is about a mile away. It's a Georgian town with good shops, a deli, and a few nice pubs. We like the ones by the church.
The north Norfolk coast is about ten minutes in the car. Blakeney is close for the seals and crabbing. Wells-next-the-Sea has the big beach with the huts. Sheringham and Cromer are east along the coast road.
Further afield, you're about 45 minutes from the Broads if you fancy that. Norwich is about the same, for the castle and the market.
For local walks, the country lanes are quiet. You can walk into Holt along the river path.
The place has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
