Gulls Nest

Gulls Nest is a bungalow in Morston. It's all on one level. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. We take up to two dogs. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

The cottage is on the coast road in the village. The pub is about 100 yards away, and there's a good restaurant right opposite. It's a five minute walk down to Morston Quay. You can get boat trips from there to see the seals at Blakeney Point.

It's a single-storey place so the rooms are all off a central hallway. There's a private courtyard garden out the back with some furniture.

For beaches, Wells-next-the-Sea is about ten minutes by car. It's got the beach huts and the little train from the car park. Holkham beach is a bit further, maybe fifteen minutes. Both are good. The coastal path is right here if you want to walk to Blakeney or Cley-next-the-Sea. The salt marshes are good for birdwatching.

The historic town of Holt is about seven miles inland. It's got shops and cafes. You can get to Holkham Hall, or the National Trust's Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall within half an hour or so. Sheringham is along the coast, they have the North Norfolk Railway there. Norwich is about an hour's drive if you want a city day.

Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. It's Christmas themed if you come in December.
