Buttercup Cottage

This is Buttercup Cottage in Blakeney. It's part of a little row of cottages just a few minutes' walk from the quay. You can see the sea from the end of the street.

It sleeps six, but there are only two bedrooms. That's because one is downstairs with a double bed and an en-suite shower room. The other bedroom is upstairs. It's a big room with a double bed and two singles, plus another bathroom. It works fine for families or two couples who don't mind the split.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up, so it's comfortable. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they turn and are a bit steep. The garden is out the back, a small patio area. It's enclosed.

You're right in the village. The pub is about a hundred yards away. The shop and places to eat are a similar distance. The quay and the coastal path are a five minute walk. You can go crabbing there. It gets busy in summer.

Wells-next-the-Sea is about ten minutes drive west. That's where the big beach with the beach huts is. Holkham is a bit further along. East is Sheringham and Cromer, maybe twenty to thirty minutes by car.

The facilities are what you'd expect. There's a woodburner, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog. We also have a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
