Pebble Cottage is on the edge of Holt. It's one of a row of brick and flint cottages on top of a hill. It's attached to the cottage next door.
It sleeps four, with one double bedroom and one twin. There's one bathroom with a shower. The stairs are standard cottage stairs, so they turn a corner and are a bit steeper than normal.
It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is clean and comfortable, with a straightforward kitchen and a sitting room at the front. The garden is at the back. There's parking for one car off the lane.
The main thing is the position. You're up on the hill, so you look out over fields at the back. There's a footpath right from the door that goes down into town, which is about a ten minute walk. That path is called Gas Hill and Spout Hill locally, and it follows a stream. In Holt there are shops, cafes, and places to eat.
You can drive to the coast at places like Weybourne or Salthouse in about ten minutes. Those are shingle beaches. The RSPB reserves at Titchwell or Cley are a short drive away if you like birdwatching.
Other things nearby: the North Norfolk Railway steam train runs from Holt to Sheringham. Thursford with its steam museum and Christmas show is about fifteen minutes by car. The Muckleburgh Military Collection is also close.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect: WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's a stairgate at the top of the stairs. Sorry, no pets.
