Pebble Cottage

Pebble Cottage is in Holt. It's one of the brick and flint Hill Cottages, so it's on top of the rise. It's attached to the next one. You get views over the fields from the front.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and everything works. It's not huge, but it's got what you need.

The stairs are a bit steep and twisty, like a lot of these old places. There's a stairgate at the top if you've got little ones.

You can walk into Holt in about ten minutes. It's a nice Georgian town with good shops and places to eat. The local pub is a few hundred yards down the road.

The coast is a short drive. Sheringham and Cromer are both about fifteen minutes by car. Good sandy beaches. The North Norfolk coast is good for walking and birdwatching. The RSPB reserves at Cley and Salthouse are very close.

You're right on the edge of the countryside here. There's a footpath straight from the door that goes down a steep track known locally as Gas Hill. It leads into the Glaven Valley.

For days out, the North Norfolk Railway steam train runs from Sheringham to Holt. The Muckleburgh Military Collection is nearby. Thursford is about twenty minutes away, they have a mechanical music museum and a big Christmas show.

Facilities: there's parking for one car on the gravel drive. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. You can store bikes. No pets.
