This is Pippin Cottage, in Holt. It's an end-of-terrace old cottage, on a quiet street. You can walk into the centre of Holt in a few minutes for the shops and pubs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which it gets for things like the good bedding and the renovation. They're not steep stairs, but they are a bit steep. You wouldn't want to carry a big suitcase up them.
There's a good-sized courtyard garden at the back, which is walled in. It gets the sun in the afternoon. There's also another little garden out the front with some fruit trees.
Holt's a nice town. It's a Georgian market town, so there's a good choice of places to eat without having to drive. The North Norfolk coast is about a 15 minute drive away. Wells-next-the-Sea has that long beach with the beach huts. Sheringham and Cromer are along the coast too.
For walking, Holt Lowes is just up the road. It's heath and woodland, good for a stroll. The coastal path is popular. Blakeney and Cley are a short drive. You can get boat trips from Morston Quay out to see the seals.
The cottage has a woodburning stove for colder nights. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the street right outside. No pets, I'm afraid.
