Hero Cottage
Hero Cottage is in Holt, about a five minute walk from the town centre. It's Grade II listed, so it's an old building. I live nearby if anything comes up.
It sleeps five, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is useful. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's not huge, but it's a good size.
Holt is a Georgian town, so the high street is nice to look at. There are a lot of places to eat and drink, all within walking distance. You won't need to drive if you don't want to.
The coast is about four miles away. You can drive to places like Blakeney or Cley-next-the-Sea in ten or fifteen minutes. Cromer pier is about a twenty minute drive. For nature, Cley Marshes is excellent for birdwatching. The Blickling Estate is about half an hour by car.
The cottage has two wood burners, one in the living room and one in the kitchen. The garden is enclosed. There's parking for one car on the gravel driveway. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. Everything is on one level from the parking area to the front door and through the ground floor, so it's suitable for wheelchair access there, but the bathrooms aren't specifically adapted.
It's got the usual things: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair and a stairgate if you need them.
