This is 42 Temple End in Blakeney. It's a cottage in the village, not far from the quay. It's a normal street, but quiet.
The house sleeps four. There are two bedrooms, which is handy, and two bathrooms. The main bedroom is downstairs at the back, through the garden. It's a bit unusual but it works. The stairs inside are quite steep and narrow. I'd watch your head if you're tall.
The garden is enclosed. It's got a decent sized patio with a table and chairs, gets the sun in the afternoon. There's a wood burner for when it gets chilly. Parking is on the drive at the front.
There's a shop a couple of minutes walk away, and a pub and a restaurant about the same. They're fine. For the beach, you'd drive to places like Wells-next-the-Sea or Holkham. They're brilliant beaches. Blakeney itself is on the water but it's marshes and a harbour, good for crabbing off the quay or a walk out to the point.
If you want to explore, you've got the whole north Norfolk coast. Sheringham and Cromer are to the east. Brancaster is west. Good for walking, cycling, birdwatching. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline here, and the Norfolk Coast National Landscape site has maps and information.
Inside, you've got the basics: Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. You can bring one dog.
