Overland Cottage
Overland Cottage is in Holt. It's a wing of a bigger house, so it's attached on one side but you have it all to yourselves. You're a few minutes' walk from the centre of town.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean but no frills. The living room is small but it's fine for a family. The garden is enclosed and private.
Holt itself is nice. It's a small Georgian town with independent shops. The local pub is a short walk away. There's a cycle hire place in town if you want bikes.
The North Norfolk coast is about five miles away. That means beaches like Blakeney, Cley, and Wells-next-the-Sea are a ten or fifteen minute drive. Miles of sand and marshes.
Holt Country Park is on the edge of town, good for a walk or a run.
Norwich is about 20 miles south if you want a city day. Good shopping, the cathedral, that sort of thing. Within half an hour you've got Blickling Hall or Holkham Hall if you like stately homes.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking right outside, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot in if you need one. You can bring two dogs.
