Hall Cottage

Hall Cottage is in Gresham, just outside of Cromer in Norfolk. It's part of the Gresham Hall estate, but it's separate, like a little house in the grounds. The garden is yours, it's enclosed, and it gets the sun in the evening.

It sleeps nine people in five bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which helps with a group that size. It's got a 3 Star rating. The furniture is comfortable, not fussy. There's a wood burner for colder days.

The facilities are pretty complete. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there. You can bring two dogs. They've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.

The village pub is about a mile and a quarter away. The nearest shop is in Sustead, about two and a half miles.

The coast is easy to get to, about two and a half miles. Cromer is that way, east. It's got the pier, a good beach, and the traditional end of pier show. If you go west along the coast you get to places like Sheringham and then on to Blakeney.

For history, you're in a good spot. Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall are National Trust places nearby. Sandringham House is about half an hour's drive. Norwich is a bit less than that, maybe 25 minutes. The Thursford Collection and Muckleburgh Military Museum are close if that's your thing.

Sheringham Park is good for walking, and the rhododendrons are worth seeing in season. The Norfolk Broads are about a 25-minute drive south, around Wroxham.
