Upper Wing, Gresham Hall
Upper Wing is an apartment on the Gresham Hall estate in East Beckham. It's one of four places you can rent here separately, or you can book the lot together if you've got a big group.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's been done up to a high standard, everything's new and it's kept very clean. It's a comfortable, well-equipped place.
The estate is down a long private drive, so it's quiet. You get a welcome pack with some basics like milk, bread and butter when you arrive.
The whole place was refurbished a few years ago. The main hall was built over a hundred years ago from estate materials, which is a nice bit of history, but your apartment will just feel modern and warm.
You're in North Norfolk, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The coast is about three miles away. Sheringham has a sandy beach and is a few minutes' drive. Cromer, with its pier, is also close.
The towns of Sheringham and Holt are nearby for shops and places to eat. Both are nice market towns.
If you want to explore, the Norfolk Broads are about 40 minutes' drive. For history, you've got Blickling Estate and Holkham Hall within easy reach. The North Norfolk Railway is a steam train that runs between Sheringham and Holt.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. They can provide a cot and highchair. It's a rural property but you can get to the coast easily. Two well-behaved pets are welcome.
