Upper Wing, Gresham Hall
Upper Wing is part of Gresham Hall, near East Beckham. It's an apartment on the first floor.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both en-suite bathrooms. The main staircase in the Hall is grand, but a bit steep. There's a 5 Star rating because the refurbishment in 2019 was done to a high spec and everything's provided.
The estate is down a long, private drive, so it feels properly secluded. You're welcome to walk around the grounds. If you've got family or friends, you can book the other apartments or the whole Hall. There's parking.
The place is clean and smart with heating and hot water, but the buildings are old. They were put up in 1907 using bricks from a local kiln.
A welcome pack with milk, bread, butter and some bits is left for you. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, Wi-Fi. You can bring one dog. Cot and highchair are there if you need them.
You're in North Norfolk, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Sheringham and Holt are the closest towns, about ten minutes by car. Sheringham has a sandy beach. Cromer with its pier is a short drive the other way.
The coast path is good for walks. For a day out, the North Norfolk Coast has details on beaches and reserves. The National Trust looks after several big estates nearby, like Blickling.
A shop, pub and restaurant are about two miles away.
