Kittiwake is a bungalow in Sheringham. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and everything works as it should. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms, with one bathroom.
The main thing is it's all on one level. No steps from the parking spot to the front door, and everything inside is flat. The doorways are wide and the shower is a walk-in. If you or anyone in your group uses a wheelchair, it'll work.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a small enclosed garden, which is handy for that. It's got a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and bedding and towels are included. We leave a cot and a highchair in the cupboard if you need them.
It's about a ten-minute walk to get down to the beach front and the town centre. That's where the shops, cafes, and the lifeboat station are. There's a local pub a bit closer.
Sheringham itself is a typical Victorian seaside town. The beach is mostly shingle. The North Norfolk Railway steam trains run from here, along the coast to Holt. For a longer beach, you can walk west along the promenade to West Runton.
If you like walking, the Norfolk Coast Path is right there. Sheringham Park is about a mile and a half away. It's a National Trust site and the rhododendrons are good in late spring.
Within half an hour's drive, you've got Blakeney for the seal trips, and Cromer, which is a bit bigger. The National Trust for North Norfolk site has good information on the area. Visit Norfolk is useful for planning further out.
