The Bath House is on the promenade in Cromer. It's right there, facing the sea and the pier. The view is good during the day, but I think it's best at night when the pier is lit up. You can sit and watch it.
It sleeps six, but that's across two bedrooms. Both have their own bathrooms. One is a big room at the front with the sea view, and it's got a Japanese soaking tub and a shower. There's a little chaise lounge by the window. The other bedroom is at the back and has four beds, so it works for a family. It's got an en-suite wet room and, this is the unusual bit, its own sauna. I don't know why, but it's there if you want it.
The kitchen and living room look straight out to the sea through big glass windows. You can even see the water from the kitchen sink through a porthole window. It's a clever layout.
It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well done. Everything's included like bedding and towels. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking permits for the allocated spaces right outside.
The location is the main thing. You step out the door and you're on the prom. You can walk to the pier, the town, the shops, and plenty of places to eat without getting in the car.
If you do drive out, it's a good base. The North Norfolk Railway is a steam train that runs from Sheringham to Holt. The Sheringham Park estate is nice for a walk. You've got the RSPB reserves at Cley Marshes and Titchwell nearby. Blickling Hall and Holkham Hall are both impressive estates within half an hour. The Broads are about 30 minutes to the south.
