Heather Cottage is in Thorpe Market. It's attached to the main house where we live, but you get the place to yourselves and we stick to our side. The garden's enclosed, which is good if you've got a dog. There's even a kennel and a little exercise yard out there if you need it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles I think, and two bathrooms which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
There's a shop about ten minutes' walk up the road. The nearest pub is in Southrepps, which is a mile or so away, and they do food. For a proper beach day, Cromer and Sheringham are about a twenty minute drive. They've got that classic seaside feel.
You're right on the edge of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty here. You can walk or cycle straight from the door. It's about five miles to the coast path if you fancy a longer trek.
Felbrigg Hall is just up the road, maybe three miles. It's a nice National Trust place for a walk. North Walsham is the nearest proper town, about six miles. It's got a market, cafes, that sort of thing.
If you want to go further, the Broads are maybe forty minutes' drive for boat hire. Norwich is about the same, for shopping or the cathedral.
In the house you've got a woodburner, a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for two cars on the drive. You can bring two dogs.
