Meadow View

This is Meadow View. It's our place just outside North Walsham. It's detached, so no shared walls, and it's in our garden. You've got your own space out the front and back. The back garden is enclosed.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom and one of the bathrooms, a wet room, are on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is open plan downstairs, so it's good if you're all in together.

The kitchen has what you need. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to three dogs.

You can walk into North Walsham in about 20 minutes. There's a Co-op and other shops, a couple of pubs that do food, and a train station. The train goes to Cromer and Norwich.

The coast is about four miles. Mundesley and Trimingham are the nearest beaches. They're good for a walk. Cromer is about ten miles north, with its pier and proper seaside stuff. Sheringham is a bit further up and has the steam railway. For the bigger beaches with the pine trees and marshes, like Holkham, you're looking at an hour's drive.

If you like walking, you can get straight onto footpaths from the door. They go to Pigney's Wood, which is a nature reserve. Bacton Wood is a short drive away for a proper woodland walk with the dog.

Wroxham, for the Broads, is about half an hour by car. You can hire boats there. Norwich is about 25 minutes in the other direction. It's got the castle, the cathedral, and all the shops.

There are a few National Trust places within easy reach if that's your thing. National Trust Norfolk has the details. For general local information, Visit North Norfolk is useful.

There's parking for two cars on the drive.
