The Shanty is in Walcott, on the Norfolk coast. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one floor. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms, and has one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and comfortable.
The beach is about a ten minute walk. It's sandy and long. The village is about the same distance: there are two pubs that do food, a fish and chip shop, and an ice cream place.
The garden is lawned and gets the sun. It's enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. The property allows up to three pets. There's a patio with seating and a BBQ, and the view looks out over fields. You get nice sunsets from there.
Inside, it's straightforward. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi is provided. There's parking on the drive.
For days out, you're well placed. Cromer is about 12 miles west, with its pier and promenade. Sheringham is a bit further. To the east, you've got Great Yarmouth. The Norfolk Broads are close by, with boat hire from places like Wroxham. The Norfolk Coast Path is right on your doorstep for walking. Bacton Woods is nearby for more walks and cycling.
For seal trips, you'd drive to Blakeney or Morston, which is about half an hour away. Norwich, for the cathedral and shopping, is about a 40 minute drive.
