The Willows

The Willows is in Sea Palling, about a five minute walk from the beach. It's a detached house, so it's quiet. You've got your own garden, it's enclosed. The big thing is it has a private indoor swimming pool. It's not massive, but it's great for kids or a dip if the weather's bad.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well kept and has everything you need. Everything is on one level inside, no internal steps. That makes it easier for anyone who finds stairs difficult.

The beach here is sandy. Good for proper walks and building sandcastles. The village has a shop and a couple of pubs within a couple of minutes' walk. They serve food.

If you want to get out, the Norfolk Broads are about a twenty minute drive. It's good for a boat trip, you can hire day boats. Broads Authority has the details for that. Great Yarmouth is about ten miles for the arcades and that sort of thing.

Further up the coast, Cromer and Sheringham are nice for a fish and chips lunch and a look around. The steam railway runs from Sheringham. For wildlife, the RSPB reserves at Titchwell or Snettisham are good spots. You can get boat trips to see the seals from Blakeney or Morston.

Facilities wise: there's the pool, a washing machine, dishwasher, woodburner for cooler nights, WiFi, and parking on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
