Ferry View
Ferry View is in Cess. It's on the River Thurne, looking out at the water and a National Trust bird reserve. It's detached. There's a private mooring if you bring a boat.
It sleeps fourteen, so it's good for groups with six bedrooms and six bathrooms. It's a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kept, not just basic.
The main things are the games room and the cinema room. The games room has a full-size snooker table and a table tennis table. The cinema room has a big 75-inch TV. There's also a balcony upstairs for watching the river and the birds.
The boatyard next door hires out boats if you want to get out on the water. The fishing around here is supposed to be very good. You can walk or cycle along the quiet lanes.
It's a short drive to Winterton-on-Sea. That's a sandy beach with dunes and a seal colony. Bewilderwood adventure park is about half an hour away in Horning, if you've got kids.
Norwich is a half hour drive. It's got everything: shops, cafes, the castle, the cathedral. There are a few National Trust places nearby like Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall.
Facilities: There's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and a wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. You can bring two dogs. The nearest shop and pub are about a mile away.
