The Wheatsheaf is in Hemsby, about a ten minute walk from the beach. It's a single storey cottage, so no stairs at all. It's just for two people.
It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's new and everything's in good order. It's one of a pair, but it's self-contained. You get your own front door and a parking space right outside.
The beach is sandy with dunes. The village has the basics: a shop, a pub that does food, and a chippy. A bit further along you've got the seafront stuff like arcades and crazy golf.
Great Yarmouth is about eight miles south if you want the bigger seaside experience, like the Pleasure Beach or Sea Life Centre. To the north, you're not far from the Norfolk Broads. You can hire a day boat or just go for a walk. The Broads Authority website has maps and information.
If you fancy a drive, Caister Castle with its car museum is close. Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens is about half an hour away towards Lowestoft.
Inside, it's all on the ground floor. There's a washing machine, a TV, and the bedding and towels are included. A cot is available if you need one. Sorry, no pets.
