Ferry Cottage is in Cess, Norfolk. It's a detached cottage right by the river. You get your own mooring spot if you've brought a boat.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms ensuite. Everything is on the ground floor. It's got a 5 Star rating, it's very nice.
The view from the sitting room is straight out over the River Thurne. You're looking at a National Trust wildlife reserve on the other bank. There's always something to see.
The stairs in the main house next door are steep. Ferry Cottage doesn't have that, it's all on one level. Parking is on site.
You're here for the water and wildlife. You can fish, or hire a boat from us. For walks, the Norfolk Coast Path is about a 25 minute drive. Winterton-on-Sea beach is a bit closer, maybe 20 minutes. The seals are there sometimes.
There's a shop and a pub in the village, which is a mile away. Norwich is half an hour by car if you need a city day.
Facilities: it's got a woodburner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
