Dill
The cottage is called Dill. It's just outside Potter Heigham, down a single-track lane. It's one of a few converted barns on the site. You get your own patio out the front, which looks out over farmland. It's quiet.
It sleeps two people. One bedroom. One shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and everything works. It's open plan downstairs.
You can bring dogs. Two is the limit.
The facilities are what you'd expect. Washing machine, WiFi, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
There's coarse fishing in the lake about five minutes walk away. The village of Ludham is a mile up the road. It's got a couple of pubs and a shop.
For days out, Potter Heigham is four miles. You can hire boats there. Wroxham is about seven miles for boat trips and that big department store. The coast at Sea Palling is a ten minute drive for the beach.
How Hill nature reserve is very close for walks. The Broads Authority website has maps and information. For a longer trip, Norwich is about half an hour's drive. The cathedral is worth seeing.
