This is Ripples. It’s a one-bedroom bungalow in Horning. Sleeps two. No pets, sorry.

It’s the middle cottage of three, right on the water. You get a south-facing verandah and a small gravelled garden with steps down to a private mooring. You can sit out there and watch the boats go by.

It’s got a three-star rating. It’s clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. The layout is all on the ground floor. There’s one bathroom with a shower. Parking is on site.

Horning itself has shops, a few riverside pubs that do food, and there’s an indoor pool and fitness centre in the village. You can hire boats nearby in Wroxham.

Norwich is about twenty minutes’ drive if you want a city day. They’ve got the cathedral, the castle museum, and good shopping. The coast at Sea Palling is about half an hour away.
