Ripples
Ripples is a bungalow in Horning. It's the middle one of three, right on the water. The waterway leads out to the River Bure.
It sleeps two, so it's just for a couple. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. Everything is on the ground floor.
You have a verandah with steps down to a little gravelled garden by the water, and there are moorings if you bring a boat. The garden faces south, so you get the sun. It's quiet, but you can watch boats going up and down from there.
In Horning there's a shop, a few pubs that do food by the river, and an indoor swimming pool and fitness centre. Wroxham is close by, that's where most of the boat hire places are.
Norwich is about seven miles away. That's where you go for the cathedral, the castle museum, the theatre, and proper shopping.
The coast with sandy beaches is about ten miles. For walking, the Broads Authority website has good routes. If you like steam trains, the Bure Valley Railway runs from Wroxham to Aylsham. There's also golf and fishing nearby.
Facilities included are WiFi, parking on site, and electricity. The shower is in the bathroom. No pets, sorry.
