This is Grebe. It's a lodge in Hoveton, right next to the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads. It's one of four places there.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is clean and works. The layout is upside-down, so the main living room is upstairs. That's so you get the best view from the balcony. You can sit out there and watch the river.
There's a grass area by the water for you. The best bit is you get the use of a day boat that takes eight people. It's free most of the year, but there's a charge for it in peak summer and at Whitsun. You can moor it right outside. They've got life jackets. If you bring a dog, you can hire a dog life jacket.
If you've got a fishing licence, you can fish from our stretch of riverbank.
Wroxham is a short walk away. They call it the capital of the Broads. There are shops, cafes, and a few places to eat there.
You're right in the middle of it for walking and cycling. For a big day out, Norwich is about twenty minutes by car. It's got the cathedral, the castle, shops, all of that. The coast is about half an hour. You've got Cromer and Sheringham that way. For a stately home, Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall are both National Trust and not far.
What's here: dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. Private parking. You can bring up to two dogs.
