This is Grebe. It's one of four lodges on the riverbank in Hoveton, right by Wroxham. It's on the River Bure and next to Daisy Broad.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable. The layout is upside-down, which means the living room is upstairs. That's so you get the best views from the balcony. You can sit out there and watch the boats go by.
The lodge comes with a day boat for up to eight people, free of charge for most of the year. You moor it right outside. There's a charge for it during Whitsun and the summer holidays, but it's a reduced rate from the owner. You'll need to sort that with them directly. If you've got a fishing licence, you can fish from the owner's stretch of riverbank.
Wroxham is a five-minute walk. There are shops, cafes, and a few restaurants there. It's a proper Broads village. For a day out, Norwich is less than half an hour's drive. It's got the cathedral, the castle, shops, and plenty to do. The north Norfolk coast is about forty minutes away if you want beaches. Cromer and Sheringham are the main towns up there.
In terms of what's here: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is a lawned area right by the water. Parking is on site.
