Deer View Cottage is one of two detached cottages in the grounds of Salhouse Hall. The hall is an old Elizabethan place. You might see deer in the fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 5 Star place, so everything's in good order and it's well looked after. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but check with us about the rest of the layout if mobility is a concern.
The cottage is detached, so you're on your own. There's a fully enclosed garden with a patio, a barbecue, and a hot tub. Inside it's open plan. You've got a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.
Salhouse village is close. There's a shop, a café, and a few pubs serving food about a mile away. Salhouse Broad is right there. You can hire canoes or just watch the boats.
For a bigger trip, Wroxham is only three miles. That's where you can hire day boats to properly explore the Broads. Norwich is about eleven miles. It's a good city for a day out, with the castle, cathedral, and shops.
The coast is about sixteen miles. You can get to places like Cromer or Happisburgh in well under an hour for a proper beach day.
