The Reeds
The Reeds is in Hoveton, which is right next to Wroxham in the middle of the Norfolk Broads. It's a detached house, just for you. The back of it faces the water, a little inlet off the River Bure. Most rooms look out over it.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. All the bedrooms are kingsize. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's well done and comfortable.
The important thing is the garden. It's lawn, goes right down to the water. There's a private mooring dock if you have your own boat, about 13 by 28 feet. There's also a slipway. We leave two sit-on kayaks and buoyancy aids for you to use. You can fish from the garden if you bring your gear.
Inside, it's open plan at the back, kitchen and living area. French doors open onto a decked verandah. Good for sitting out.
It's very close to Wroxham centre, a few minutes' walk. Shops, a couple of pubs, cafes, and the train station are all right there. You can walk to them.
For days out, you're on the Broads. You can hire a boat in Wroxham. Horning village is a short drive or boat trip away, nice for a meal by the river. There's BeWILDerwood near Horning if you have children.
The coast is about twenty minutes by car. Sea Palling has a sandy beach. Further up, Horsey Gap has a grey seal colony. You can see pups on the beach in winter.
Norwich is about twenty minutes by train or car. It's got the cathedral, the castle museum, and shopping.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Parking on site. There's a shed for bike storage. We can provide a highchair. No pets.
