Bird Barn
Bird Barn is in Scottow, Norfolk. It's a detached barn conversion. We live on site, in the farmhouse next door.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can bring up to two. It's just a lawn, but it's private and gets the sun.
Facilities are pretty standard: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. There's parking right outside. We've also put in an electric vehicle charger.
The location is good for getting around. You're about 10 miles from the coast. Mundesley and Happisburgh are the nearest beaches, they're sandy. The Norfolk Broads are closer. The Broads Authority website has maps and boat hire information. Wroxham is about four miles away, that's where most of the boat hire is.
Norwich is 11 miles. It's a proper city with shops, the cathedral, and a castle museum. If you like walking, the coast path and the broads are good. National Trust Norfolk has details for places like Blickling Hall, which is about nine miles away.
There's a shop a mile away. The nearest pub and restaurant are in Coltishall, about three miles.
