This is Malt Shovel. It's one of five cottages attached to a boatyard on a river, near Stalham. The whole place is called Wayford Bridge.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating so it's comfortable and everything works.
The main thing is the river. The living room doors open onto a balcony that looks right out over the water. You also get a little private garden with a bit of quay heading. You can fish from there, if that's your thing.
Each cottage gets a dinghy to use on the river. There's also an indoor heated swimming pool and a sauna on site, shared between the five cottages.
There's a shop and a local pub about 250 yards back up the road.
You're on the edge of the Broads. Stalham, Wroxham, and Hickling Broad are all within a 15 minute drive. The coast at Sea Palling or Horsey is about a 20 minute drive for beaches. Norwich is 12 miles one way, Great Yarmouth is 16 miles the other.
For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding is included. No pets.
If you're looking for things to do, these sites are good for planning: Broads Authority for the waterways and National Trust East of England for local properties.
