Rose Cottage
Rose Cottage is in Catfield, in the Norfolk Broads. It's end of terrace, one of three thatched cottages that are 17th century, I think. The garden is enclosed and quite big, about a quarter of an acre. It's quiet here.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not high-spec. The stairs are steep and a bit narrow, which is normal for a cottage this old. Just mind your head.
There's a pub and a shop about a hundred yards away. The pub does food. The garden is fully fenced, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can have up to two.
You're right in the Broads. For boat hire or fishing, Potter Heigham is about three miles. Hickling Broad is close too, good for a walk or a cycle if you hire some bikes. The beach at Sea Palling is about five miles away for a proper swim.
Norwich is 18 miles if you need a city day for shopping or the cathedral.
At the cottage, you've got a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included.
