Riversdale Cottage is in Irstead, on the Norfolk Broads. It's a detached place right on the River Ant. You're next to our house, but you've got your own garden that goes down to the water.
It sleeps eight over four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms. It's a 5 Star property, which means it's well-equipped and in good order. It's comfortable, but it's a cottage by a river, so expect some mud if it's been wet.
You get the lawn, a terrace to sit out on, and a cart shed with a table tennis table in it. The river frontage is yours, so you can fish from the bank if that's your thing.
The real point here is the location on the water. We have boats you can hire from us directly. There's a six-seater motor launch and a rowing dinghy. You can also book experiences on our classic Broads cruiser or 1930s yacht if you want something different. All that needs arranging with us before you come.
The area is very quiet. The village of Neatishead is about two miles away. It's got a decent pub that does food and a small community shop. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Wroxham or Stalham.
If you want to get out on foot, there are plenty of paths from the door. The Barton Broad boardwalk is in the village. For a day out, Bewilderwood at Horning is popular with kids. The coast is about half an hour's drive; Sea Palling and Happisburgh are good sandy beaches. Norwich is about nine miles away for a city day.
Things here: washing machine, dishwasher, cot, highchair, stairgate, wood burner, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
