I'll be straight with you, the Nightingale is a terraced cottage. It's part of a small development here in Wroxham, right on the River Bure.
It's a two-bedroom place, sleeps two, one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern inside. The living area is open-plan. The French doors at the front open onto a shared bit of grass by the water. There's a boat basin at the back too.
If you're into fishing, you can get to the water right from your doorstep. If you hire a day boat, you can keep it moored in that basin by the decking.
The local pub is about fifty yards away. There's a shop and a restaurant maybe a fifteen-minute walk. Wroxham is the main spot for the Broads. You can hire boats here easily, or just get on a river trip. The train station is handy if you want to leave the car. Norwich is about eight miles if you fancy a city day.
For days out, the coast at Cromer or Happisburgh is about a twenty to thirty minute drive. The Broads Authority website is good for planning. So is the National Trust for Norfolk for places like Blickling or Felbrigg.
What's included: There's a TV, WiFi, parking. Bedding and towels are there. No pets, I'm afraid. The garden area is shared with the other cottages, but it's quiet.
