Bewick Swan
Bewick Swan is a modern house in Wroxham, right on the river. It's part of a small group called The Riverviews. The main living area is upstairs so you get a view over the private marina.
It sleeps seven in four bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, which is handy. The rating is 5 Star, so everything should be in good order.
You get use of a motor launch for free, except during Whitsun and the summer holidays. You collect it from the owner's boatyard nearby. You can moor it right by the house. If you've got a fishing licence and your own gear, you can fish on the owner's other bit of river frontage too.
Wroxham's the main village around here. Shops, cafes, and a few places to eat are a five minute walk. The local pub is about the same. The river's always busy with boats, which is nice to watch.
For getting out, you're in the middle of the Norfolk Broads. Plenty of walking and cycling paths. The coast isn't far, maybe half an hour to beaches like Cromer or Sheringham. Norwich is about a twenty minute drive if you want a city day, for the cathedral or shopping.
Two well behaved dogs are allowed. There's an enclosed courtyard garden with a barbecue. Parking is on site. Bedding and towels are included, and there's a cot and stairgate if needed.
