The Mill @ The Mill House is what it sounds like. It's a converted grain mill from 1825. It's a black tower in a field, near Ludham in the Norfolk Broads. You get your own garden. It's very quiet.
It sleeps three, but with a pull-out bed. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's nice inside, but it is an old mill.
You need to know about the stairs. They're spiral and they're steep. The rooms are round. It's not suitable for young children because of the stairs and the open drops. There's no getting around that.
The owner lives in the main house next door, but it's separate. You've got your own bit.
A five minute walk down the path takes you to the River Ant. Opposite is the How Hill Trust area, which is good for nature and walks. You can find out more here: How Hill Trust.
Ludham village is a short drive. It's got a pub, a shop, a butcher. Womack Water is nearby too, which is nice for watching boats.
For bigger trips, Wroxham is about twenty minutes by car. That's where you hire boats and find supermarkets. Norwich is about fifteen miles for city shopping and the cathedral. The coast at Sea Palling is about nine miles for a sandy beach.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. There's parking.
