Olive

Olive is a detached cottage in Stalham, Norfolk. It sits next to the River Ant, so you're looking out over the water and the Staithe. It's a quiet spot.

The house sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The layout is open plan and everything is on the ground floor, which is helpful if stairs are a problem. The doorway is wheelchair friendly.

There's a patio and garden area with a barbecue. You get the garden to yourselves. Parking is on site.

You're right in the owner's boatyard. They have motor launches you can hire if you want to get out on the river. You can fish from the bank right outside. The local pub is a five-minute walk and there's a restaurant even closer.

For days out, the Norfolk coast is about fifteen minutes by car. Sea Palling is the nearest beach. For a quieter sandy beach, try Waxham or Horsey.

Wroxham, which is the main town for the Broads, is about eight miles away. Norwich is a 40-minute drive if you want a city day for shopping or the castle. Great Yarmouth is about half an hour.

A good local attraction is BeWILDerwood, the tree top adventure park near Horning. It's a 20-minute drive. The Norfolk Broads Museum is just a few minutes' walk from the cottage if you're interested in the history of the area.

The property allows up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a TV and WiFi.
